PRE-DESIGN

We start a project by working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and lifestyles, help them articulate their goals, and develop a comprehensive project program. We then prepare detailed as-built drawings, a site analysis and a local zoning, code, environmental and historic requirements analysis to establish a regulation framework. 

 

When regulations pose challenges and restrictions that must be well understood and thoughtfully addressed, we offer our experience and judgement to carefully evaluate possible solutions, help achieve our clients' vision and maximize their investment. We also guide clients, participate, or collaborate with lawyers through zoning and public hearings, if required.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

We prepare comprehensive schematic design, design development and construction documents, and encourage close collaboration with our clients and builders throughout the process. We assist through project bidding and permitting processes, and provide construction administration.

INTERIOR DESIGN

For clients who request guidance with interior design we assist with selection of fixtures such as millwork, flooring, tile products, countertops, cabinets, paint colors, lighting, and appliances.

COLLABORATIONS

We collaborate with surveyors, structural engineers and interior designers.
